Turn any Document into a Workflow

Create Workflows with your documents and templates. In this article, we’ll show you how to create a new Workflow with Document AI. De-duplicate Webform fields, create intelligible page breaks, and auto create and map signers. Focus on building a great user experience and spend less time with the basics.

If you need to fill and sign documents just once or only need to collect a few pieces of information, we recommend using Anvil Etch e-signatures instead.

Getting started

Before you start building a Workflow, we highly recommend setting up your files as document templates (and use Document AI to accelerate your template creation) first.

Well set up templates streamline the Workflow creation process and help you get the most out of your time. For example, if there are any duplicate fields within or across documents, assigning them the same field alias, field name, and field type in your template can help deduplicate and map fields correctly within your Workflow.

Creating Workflows with Anvil Document AI

Once your templates are built, you’re ready to build Workflows. Anvil Document AI is enabled by default and we encourage you to use it.
