Adding Stripe payments to Anvil Workflows

Anvil Workflows can be customized to automate any kind of paperwork, from contracts and applications to payment forms. Add Stripe payments to a Workflow to collect payments seamlessly in just a few steps.

  1. Log into your Stripe account and select the “Payments” tab. From the “Payments” page, you’ll be able to select “Payment links”.

  2. Once you’re in the “Payment links” page, click on the purple tab in the upper right corner labeled “New”.

  3. From there, you can add your product. Then, click the purple tab in the upper right corner labeled “Create link”. Copy the newly generated link.

  4. Navigate back to your Workflow dashboard in Anvil and open up the Workflow you’d like to add a payment link to. Once you’ve opened up that Workflow, click the gear in the upper right corner and select “Edit Workflow”.

  5. On the webform side of the page, click through the pages of your Workflow to the last page.

  6. Once you’re on the last page, you’ll see a field at the top of the left hand column labeled “Finish Page State”. Switch the state to say “Completed”.

  7. In the “redirect URL upon completion” field, paste your newly generated payment link. Once your Workflow is completed and signed, it will automatically redirect users to the link specified.
