Edit a signer in an Etch packet

Sometimes a signer will request to update their information, such as changing an email address, or you learn that someone else needs to sign on their behalf after a packet has already been sent. In these cases, you can use the edit signer feature to update the signer without having to resend the entire packet.

Note that you cannot edit a signer AFTER they have signed. In this case you would need to void and resend the packet.

To edit signer:

Navigate the Etch dashboard.

Navigate to your “sent” packet.

Locate the signer you want to update and click “edit”.

Edit the signer’s information.

If all previous signers have already signed and a signature request has already been emailed to the signer before their information was changed, you’ll need to resend the signature request.

Click “Resend Signature Email”.
