Change the format of a date selector in a webform

In a webform you can collect a date from users with a calendar picker or by selecting the year, month and day all in separate dropdowns. Changing the field type allows you to toggle between these two options. You can also default to today’s date to make date selection even easier.

For a single calendar picker:

Select a date field on a webform.

Click the pencil next to the field name to open the webform field editor panel on the left.

Set the ‘Field type’ to ‘Date calendar picker.’

From the right side field editor panel, choose Date calendar picker from the field type dropdown.
