Navigate to the Workflow editor to create or edit a Workflow

Use the Workflow editor to create a new Workflow or edit any webform, PDF, signature, or setting within an existing Workflow.

For new Workflows:

Add a new Workflow.

Click on the + New Workflow button at the bottom of your left-side navigation. You can also start a new Workflow from the ‘Create Workflow’ button or if it’s your first time using Anvil, from the ‘Welcome’ card on your Workflow dashboard.

Select a document.

Upload a PDF or docX to convert into an Anvil Workflow or select an existing PDF template and click Let’s go.

You will be redirected to the Workflow editor.

The Workflow editor has a navigation bar at the top with 3 tabs: Webform, Preview, and PDF. When you enter the Workflow editor, you will be in the Preview tab which will show you your auto-generated webform and PDF side-by-side.

For existing Workflows:

Edit the Workflow.

Click on the gear icon to the right of the Workflow title and select Edit Workflow.

You will be redirected to the Workflow editor.

The Workflow editor has a navigation bar at the top with 3 tabs: Webform, Preview, and PDF. When you enter the Workflow editor, you will be in the Preview tab which will show you your webform and PDF side-by-side.
